overtime over-excitement
2011-11-14 - 10:41 a.m.
It seems like the Saints were trying to give away that football game yesterday.
They made it harder than it had to be. Finally -- finally! -- they toasted
the turkeys in overtime. But they really shouldn't have let it get that far.
Sometime around the point where they missed their second field goal attempt, I
was ready to turn off the TV in disgust. However, DH walked in from his shopping
and wanted to see, so I left it on. A much closer game than it needed to be. At
least
the Falcons were making dumb-ass mistakes too. Heh. Everybody's a critic.
Not a super-productive day. Some clean-up here and there. Found a stack of
magazines I had neither written for nor read, so I skimmed them for goodies and
freed up another square foot of office space. Started a new papier maché
project, a minor one. Still pondering my gift and packing alternatives. With the
cats out of the yard, I have replaced my hummingbird and finch feeders.
