curses on these cats 2011-11-10 - 8:24 a.m. Seems like I walked away for a bit, and the yard instantly went to heck. The rotary tumbler is acting up. The back fence has rotted in the area behind the old finch-house monkey-grass garden, and a parade of horrible cats keep coming and going all day. When I got back from the Yellow Rail Fest, I found evidence that they've been attacking my wild visitors -- Blue Jay feathers, Mourning Dove feathers in suggestive numbers. So I had to take down the feeders until we have time to patch the hole. Yes, the pesky things can climb, but why make it easy for them? The orange cat is still leaving pawprints on my new car. Wonder if I can sprinkle some hot pepper flakes around... Peachfront's Note: There has never been a world traveler quite as whackadoo as Peachfront.
